Every video published on the platform goes through a review process before it goes live. This post explains how that process works.
## What is required at upload
A creator must make three declarations when uploading content:
1. That everyone appearing in the content was over 18 2. That written consent was obtained from all participants 3. That identity and age documents are archived and will be produced on request
These declarations are part of the legal obligation under 18 U.S.C. § 2257. Content submitted without them does not even enter the review queue.
## What the review checks
For every upload our team checks: whether the creator's identity has been verified, whether a record reference has been entered, whether anything in the content raises an age concern, and whether the material was taken from another platform.
Content that fails these checks is rejected and the creator is told why.
## Never published
- Any material involving minors, or that gives the impression of involving minors - Imagery filmed or shared without consent — hidden cameras, IP cameras, leaked private content - Material involving violence, coercion or trafficking - Content republished without the copyright holder's permission
These rules are not negotiable and have no exceptions.
## What happens when a report comes in
Every report from the Report Content page lands in a separate queue. Non-consensual imagery and suspected-minor reports are handled at the top of that queue and resolved within 48 hours.
If a report is upheld, the content is removed immediately and the uploading creator's account is reviewed. Repeat violations result in permanent closure.
